Volunteer

Animals, like humans, experience pain, fear, loneliness and frustration. Since they cannot speak or care for themselves, they depend on us to provide proper care and quality of life. Each and every one of us can play a role in ending the needless suffering of companion animals.

Animal Aide Outaouais relies on the energy and time of dedicated volunteers.

There are many ways to help:

Become a member:

As an affiliate member, you will show your support of our aims and objectives. With full membership, you have voting privileges.

Fundraising:

AAO is always looking for ways to raise funds and have fun at the same time! Various events are held throughout the year, including our spring garage sale, barbeque and Pet Photos with Santa.

Translation:

Translators (English to French and vice versa) are required for our website and educational material.

Education/Advocacy:

Promoting animal welfare by holding information booths, writing articles for publication and educating children in the humane treatment of companion animals.

Cat Rescue/Foster:

Although Animal Aide Outaouais is not a rescue organization, we do network with various local rescue groups who have an ongoing need for foster homes.

Donate:

• The Feline Fund provides financial assistance for spay/neuter of stray and feral cats.
• The Special General Fund provides funding for special and emergency situations.

We are not able at this time to offer charitable donation receipts. However, be reassured that all money donated will be used directly to help the animals.
